Mock is an act or imitation trial that is similar to a moot court.
The difference is that mock trials simulate lower-court trials, while moot court simulates appellate court hearings.
In mock trial, student attorneys preparing for a real trial might use a mock trial consisting of volunteers as role players to test theories or experiment with each other. In many areas of the US, students participate in rehearsed trials to learn about the legal system in a competitive manner.
Our mock trial tutors help students prepare for their competitions by assisting them with the development of the following skills —
Identification and organization of evidence
Identifying weaknesses in evidence
How to analyze and break-down case booklets
Adapting cases during the trial
How to prepare on your own before the trial
How to prepare with teammates before the trial
Students can choose particular skills to develop and classes can be booked in 5 hour time blocks.
